Inspired by 90s rock artists such as Radiohead, Mazzy Star, the Smashing Pumpkins, and Alanis Morisette, julip brings a pop twist to the genre with a witty, tongue-in-cheek lyrical style that takes inspiration from her sarcastic New Yorker father, Alex Turner, and Lana del Rey.
