Miss Teen America is a gothic rock quintet based out of NYC. Formed in early 2023, the band came to be through the posting of flyers across the city reading "Do You Want to Be In A Goth Band?" After weeks of unrelenting efforts byTJ (vocals, lyrics) and Vic (bass), they were joined by Alex (guitar), Marcus (guitar), and Tom (drums). Since then, they have been playing shows throughout the city, and forming their own sound, combining traditional dark, gothic roots with punk rock energy and sleaze, and a pop sensibility. Their debut single "Take Me Back" was released on October 20th 2023, and it is the first of many singles to come.
