SKARLIT is an up-and-coming alternative rock and pop sensation based out of NYC. A singer-songwriter, audio engineer, producer, and performer, she’s a powerhouse about to burst into the scene. It all started in a church choir and local theatre, where she began to train in music. Having such an artistically potent upbringing led her to making music her career path. Her inspirations such as Stevie Wonder, John Mayer, Michael Jackson, The Beatles, Joni Mithcell (to name a few) have shown her how strong the connection between the heart and the craft can be. Emotional vulnerability that engages, is what shapes her songs. Releases with Santiablo show her fun electro pop side, while her single with Memory Set and her personal projects will dive deep into the growing pains of this generation with an indie rock, pop and folk style. Stay tuned for her debut EP in early 2024. Other collabs include artists K3SS, mynameisben, D-Tronic, Rory Alexzander, Will Urbane, Catalina Shortwave, Drew Mazur, and more. Performing live is also a huge passion, having played out at venues such as Rockwood Music Hall, The Delancey, 3 Dollar Bill, Quantum, The Bowery Electric and with more shows to come! Notably, she opened for Macy Gray at The Ridgefield Playhouse this past October. She’s been climbing her way up slowly through putting in work at studios such as Key+Needles Studios, Quad Studios, and Electric Lady. She also has taken the opportunity to grow her brand through performing and bartending at NYC’s most famous bar, Coyote Ugly Saloon. Just like the character Violet, of cult classic film, Coyote Ugly, she’s making sure NYC and someday the country won't be able to “fight the moonlight” that is SKARLIT.
