Toby played acoustic guitar in The Moldy Peaches, and bass guitar in the bands Darwin Deez and The Pizza Underground. He is experiencing the twilight of a once-prolific solo career, previously having recorded and released 26 albums in an eighteen-year span. He toured Europe in support of the tenth anniversary LP reissue of his untitled album in 2019, courtesy of Lousy Moon Records and Tiny Room Records, did it once more for the tenth anniversary LP reissue of his album Truth Jump Fall (BB*Island) in 2022, and yet again in 2022 in support of his Roger Miller covers album (BB*Island) with Mathias Kom of The Burning Hell.
